Welcome Aboard! Captain Bernie Shellman has over 30 years fishing experience on Lake Erie. He is licensed by the U.S.C.G., and is a Michigan and Ohio licensed guide.

Our boat, the "LINDSAY K" is a 31 ft. Baha Sportfisherman. She has a 12' beam, which means plenty of fishing room for your walleye or perch fishing party, up to six person. She's equipped with the latest electronics, Big Jon electric downriggers, outriggers, auto-pilot, GPS, two ship to shore radios, color fishfinder, and radar. For your comfort, a full stand-up head, and galley below.

Our season starts off on Lake Erie where we fish for Walleye from April thru mid July, Salmon from mid July - mid September and Perch from mid September - mid October 15th. Our home ports, Toledo Beach is located in Monroe Michigan in the western basin of Lake Erie, this area is world renown for its robust walleye and perch fishing and Frankfort Michigan a well known port for Salmon in Northern Michigan.

Lake Erie Walleye - Starting in the Spring we fish for walleye in Lake Erie using ultra lite rods with 10lb braided line for vertical jigging. In the Summer we troll using planner boards with diving plugs and controlled-depth fishing with spoons.

Lake Michigan Salmon - In the Summer we fish for Salmon and Trout trolling using inline planner boards with lead core and controlled-depth fishing with downriggers and dipsy divers with spoons and plugs.

Lake Erie Perch - In the fall we fish for perch with a 2-way spreader with #6 long-shanked, snelled hooks tipped with shiners. Jigging the spreader periodically gives the shiners some movement and usually entices a bite.
